Senator Monday Okpebholo is a Nigerian businessman and politician who has served as the Executive Governor of Edo State since November 12, 2024, following his victory in the September 21, 2024 gubernatorial election. He ran under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with the campaign motto "A New Edo Has Risen."
Prior to his governorship, he served as the Senator representing the Edo Central Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly (2023–2024). He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Abuja and has championed initiatives in youth empowerment, agricultural development, healthcare, and rural infrastructure.
His election victory was affirmed by the Court of Appeal (May 2025) and the Edo State Governorship Election Tribunal (April 2025).
Deputy Governor, Edo State — (Sworn in November 12, 2024)
Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa is a Nigerian politician and public servant who has served as the Deputy Governor of Edo State since November 12, 2024, having been elected on the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket alongside Governor Monday Okpebholo in the September 21, 2024 gubernatorial election. His selection as running mate was widely credited as a key factor in the administration's electoral victory.
Born on August 11, 1980, in Benin City, Edo State, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Master's degree in Legislative Studies obtained from institutions in Canada and Nigeria. Prior to his current role, he served two terms as a member of the House of Representatives representing the Ovia South-West/Ovia North-East Federal Constituency (2019–2024), where he chaired the House Committee on Legislative Compliance.
As Deputy Governor, he constitutionally acts as Governor in the event of the Governor's absence, and is first in the line of succession under the Edo State executive structure.

Her appointment as Commissioner by His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo, Governor of Edo State, is a testament to her unwavering dedication and expertise.
Dr. Bisi Idaomi is an experienced humanitarian and social development professional with both public and private sector experience. She previously served as Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development before her appointment to lead MHAPA.
NYSC served with Continental Merchant Bank, Kano — where she honed financial and corporate law expertise.

Dr. Efosa Aisien serves as the Permanent Secretary of MHAPA, providing strategic administrative leadership and ensuring the smooth coordination of all ministerial operations and programme delivery across Edo State.
